Paravirtual Studio
for Semiconductor Vendors
Faster time to volume
shipment is the key to the success for any chip
company. Paravirtual Studio helps semiconductor
manufacturers during two critical phases to reach the
goal of volume shipment faster:
-
Software engineers in
chip companies can develop drivers and other
software before the actual silicon is available.
-
Once the software is
ready, semiconductor companies can distribute
“Virtual Reference Boards” to their customers – just
like physical reference boards, but months ahead.
Early access to reference boards gives the chip
customers an early start on their own software
development, which results in volume shipment of the
chip six to twelve months early.
The algorithms or
programming language used for the Virtual Chips are not
Paravirtual proprietary. Many semiconductor partners
have successfully integrated their existing functional
models into Paravirtual Studio.
Paravirtual works very
closely with semiconductor companies to help create
Virtual Chips and Virtual Reference Boards.
